Homer’s wanderer is retold in five episodes: the blinding of Poseidon’s son the Cyclops, the enchanted palace in the wood, the descent among the dead, the loss of the last of his crew, and the long-delayed homecoming to Ithaca. A guide to the principal characters opens the book and a note on Homer closes it.
A brisk, colourful way into the Odyssey for younger readers or anyone who wants the story before the epic. Download the free EPUB.
