Rinconete and Cortadillo, two teenage runaways, join a guild of Seville thieves; a scholar who believes he is made of glass dispenses wisdom in the streets; two hospital dogs compare notes on their masters; a girl raised among gipsies is courted by a nobleman. Cervantes ranges from picaresque comedy to romance and satire.
Written in the years of Don Quixote, these stories show Cervantes at his most varied, in Walter K. Kelly’s translation. Download the free EPUB.
