With a foreword by Douglas Haig, this history follows the part-time soldiers of the West Riding of Yorkshire from their pre-war county association through mobilization to the Western Front. The 49th and 62nd Divisions serve on the Somme, the northern ridges and at Cambrai in November 1917, and hold on through the German offensives of 1918 at Bucquoy.
A solid divisional history for anyone with Yorkshire roots or an interest in the Territorial Force. Download the free EPUB.
