Dedicated to the Welsh sea-captain grandfather he never met, Griffis retells the tales of Wales for young readers. There are the Welsh rabbit and the hunted hares, the mighty lake monster Afanc, the two cat witches, giants, fairy folk, magic wells and many more, often with a note on the place or custom from which a story springs.
Lively retellings for children and a pleasant introduction to Welsh folklore. Download the free EPUB.
