An insider follows one of the great American ‘big shows’ through a full season. The trains arrive and unload, canvas rises on the lot, the parade winds through town, and the reader goes on to the side-show, the main entrance, the menagerie tent and the dressing rooms of the performers, whose dangerous acts are weighed by the director before they are allowed.
A lively behind-the-scenes picture of the golden age of the American circus. Download the free EPUB.
