When his aeroplane comes down beyond an impenetrable thorn forest, Tarzan finds a lost valley where primitive giant women rule cowed men, and beyond it the miniature cities of the Minunians, warlike ant-sized people who ride antelope. Captured and reduced to their scale, he labours as a slave, while Esteban Miranda, the Spanish impostor mistaken for Tarzan, faces troubles of his own among cannibals.
