A strange light reported on Mars sets the narrator wondering how men might reach the other planets. The discovery of a new force, an electric orrery and a craft built to cross space carry him to Venus, a warm world of flowering groves under a sun twice the size of ours, where he explores the crater lands and their wonders.
Charming Victorian interplanetary romance from the age of Wells and Verne, rich in period science. Download the free EPUB.
