The evangelist D. W. Whittle gathers accounts of answered prayer told by George Müller, D. L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon, Charles Finney and many lesser-known believers: provision for orphanages, conversions, children’s faith, gifts that arrived in time and the Fulton Street prayer meeting. Some of its stories of healing by faith alone reflect the beliefs of its day and are no guide to medical care.
