The Diamond Sutra is short, dialogic and relentlessly paradoxical: the Buddha teaching Subhuti that the bodhisattva must save all beings while knowing there are no beings to save, and that every category the mind reaches for must be set down again. The oldest dated printed book in the world is a copy of it.
