On 24 July 1712, at Auchensaugh near Douglas, a remnant of Scottish Covenanters solemnly renewed the National Covenant and the Solemn League and Covenant, with a long confession of public sins and a pledge to duties. This edition from the Reformed Presbytery reprints those documents with a historical introduction and the Presbytery’s own renewal of the covenants at Philadelphia in 1880.
