Compiled by the Franciscan Bonaventure Hammer, this is a working prayer book for ordinary Catholics. It gathers morning and evening prayers, acts of faith, hope, charity and contrition, prayers to the Virgin Mary, the guardian angel and the Sacred Heart, and the Stations of the Cross, with the indulgences attached to each as they stood in the late nineteenth century.
A clear window on popular Catholic devotion, useful for prayer or for historical interest. Download the free EPUB.
