Conger, a hunter and trapper serving a prison sentence, is offered his freedom by the Council in exchange for one job: travel back in time and kill the man who founded the pacifist Movement that now dominates the world. He is given the founder’s skull to identify him, and arrives in a small twentieth-century town to wait.
An early, mind-twisting Dick story from 1952 that already shows his genius for paradox. Download the free EPUB.
