The man whose papers name him Major Abner Harris of the Interstellar Development Corps steps off the starship Lucky Lady as a human being, but he is an alien in perfect disguise. His mission is to kill the Medlins, rival infiltrators who also walk the Earth in borrowed shapes, and the trouble is that any stranger, any woman with a disruptor, might be one of them.
