Halloway stares down at Earth from a rocket bound for Mars and his nerve gives way. Told as a stream of panicked inner speech, the story follows how his mind escapes into memories of home, of a popcorn seller named Tony and the streets he knew, while the crew faces real danger.
An early Bradbury story from Planet Stories, already showing the lyrical voice of The Martian Chronicles. Download the free EPUB.
