Scott Warren of Galactic News sits at his typewriter while Mars celebrates its freedom from the Rockheads, the ruling clique that kept the Martians poor. He knows the story behind the story, how fate caught up with the tyrant Rastol, but cannot file it yet, since the new freedom has its own complications.
