Joyce Kilmer gathered poems by Catholic writers in English, British, Irish and American, for this anthology published shortly before he was killed in France. Hymns by James Clarence Mangan sit beside Hilaire Belloc’s The South Country and verse on Our Lord and Our Lady, the hills and the birds.
A generous selection from the editor of Trees, good for anyone exploring religious verse of the early twentieth century. Download the free EPUB.
