Michael Strangway, the curate of a Devon village, is a gentle idealist who loves birds and children. When it emerges that his wife Beatrice has left him for another man and that he will not punish her, his rough-tongued parishioners turn against him, and he must decide how much forgiveness costs.
A tender, quietly powerful play from Galsworthy’s fourth series, set in the West Country. Download the free EPUB.
