A young woman and her friends begin experimenting with Planchette and find that the intelligence behind it comes and goes as it pleases. Through their confidences and questions, and the stories of the people around them, the novel explores spiritualism, the pursuit of ideals in the face of poverty and persecution, and what lies beyond death.
A curious document of American spiritualist belief, told as fiction. Download the free EPUB.
