Carl Stanton lies in his city rooms crippled with rheumatism, cursing the Northern winter, while his fiancée is far away and too busy to write. A circular from a company offering cheerful letters by subscription brings him Molly, whose funny, tender notes and small surprises turn his sickroom upside down, until he confesses he has fallen in love with someone who does not exist.
A small, sparkling romance in letters, light as meringue and very charming. Download the free EPUB.
