Rosa Lee tells her own story from a New England childhood, Thanksgiving gatherings and a dashing cousin Will to her first post as a thirteen-year-old schoolmistress in the Pine Hill district. Later she travels and teaches further afield, meeting a dark stranger on a train and finding her heart pulled several ways.
Holmes said the early chapters are mostly her own childhood, which gives this domestic romance its warmth. Download the free EPUB.
