Booth Tarkington, Kenneth Roberts and Hugh MacNair Kahler pose as the pompous founders of the American Academy for the Popularization of Antiquities and deliver its papers. They offer hints on buying from original sources, the secret of success, rugs, iron, brass and glass, the European field, and the art of pooning, all poking fun at the 1920s mania for anything old.
A dry, knowing satire for collectors who can laugh at themselves. Download the free EPUB.
