Mrs. Roberts has hired a cook she has never seen and is to meet her at the Albany depot in Boston, so her husband and his brother-in-law Willis Campbell are sent to find her among the waiting women. Mistaken identities, an indignant Irish politician named McIlheny and a great deal of marital advice follow.
A brisk one-act farce from Howells’s comedies of the Roberts and Campbell households. Download the free EPUB.
