Milne collects the light sketches he wrote week by week for Punch. A narrator soon to marry the baby’s aunt Myra stands godfather at the christening of an heir, a party sets off for winter sport, and Celia and her husband debate the household’s affairs, down to the merits of Edward and William.
Early Milne at his most playful, long before Christopher Robin, for anyone who enjoys gentle English humour. Download the free EPUB.
