Written as Edward IV prepared to invade France in 1475, this Middle English treatise recalls the English victories of the Hundred Years’ War and urges the king and his nobles to win back what was lost, with advice on paying soldiers and keeping discipline. It is now attributed to William Worcester, secretary to Sir John Fastolf; John Gough Nichols edited it for the Roxburghe Club.
