Commissioned by order of the Horse Guards in 1836, Cannon’s regimental histories set down the services of every British regiment. This volume follows the Gordon Highlanders, raised in 1794 as the Hundredth Regiment and renumbered the Ninety-second, through Ireland, Egypt and the Peninsular War, where the text marches them village by village across Spain, to Quatre Bras and Waterloo, with succession lists of colonels and an appendix.
A primary resource for students of the Napoleonic wars and of one of the most famous Highland regiments. Download the free EPUB.
