Lovat Fraser’s 1922 selection from A General History of the Pyrates gathers the lives of the most notorious sea-rovers of the early eighteenth century: Captain Avery, John Rackham and his crew, Spriggs, Lowe, Lowther, Teach alias Blackbeard, Major Stede Bonnet, William Kid, Edward England and John Gow, with their captures, quarrels and ends.
The source of most of what we think we know about pirates, sometimes attributed to Daniel Defoe. Download the free EPUB.
