The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania’s librarian gathered from the Washington Papers every exchange between Washington and the Freemasons: a gift of Masonic aprons from Nantes, addresses from lodges in Alexandria, Newport and New Bern, and greetings from the grand lodges of several states during his presidency, each with Washington’s reply and Sachse’s notes.
A small but genuine source for historians of Washington and of Freemasonry in early America. Download the free EPUB.
