Cody tells his own life up to 1879: a Kansas boyhood, early work driving teams and riding for the overland mail, hard times, accidents and escapes, buffalo hunting, carrying dispatches for General Sheridan, and his service as a scout with Generals Carr, Merritt, Crook and Terry in the Indian wars, before he turned showman.
A frontier legend’s version of himself, colourful, boastful and part of the making of the Wild West myth. Download the free EPUB.
