Bowen gathers every story he can find for the legend of Prince Madoc, said to have sailed west from Wales in 1170, from Welsh chroniclers to the narratives of the Rev. Morgan Jones and Charles Beatty about Welsh-speaking tribes. Modern historians reject the legend, and the book is best read as a record of what was believed.
A fascinating document of the Madoc myth for readers of folklore and historical curiosities. Download the free EPUB.
