Orso della Rebbia, a half-pay officer of Napoleon’s army, sails home to Corsica in the company of an English colonel and his fashionably bored daughter Lydia. Waiting for him is his sister Colomba, who believes their father was murdered by the rival Barricini family and is determined, by every means at her command, to see him avenged.
A taut novella from the author of Carmen, full of bandits, honour and island pride. Download the free EPUB.
