A bank collector counts out ten thousand francs, and from that ordinary transaction a web of shady schemes, night brawls and disappearances begins to spread. A drunken Englishman, a girl called Nini, a captive in a lantern and a wireless message from mid-Atlantic all lead back to one name, and to Fantômas’s ultimatum.
Pulp crime at its most delirious, from the French series the Surrealists adored, in Alfred Allinson’s translation. Download the free EPUB.
