Molly, the switchboard girl in a New Jersey country town, tells the story of the Hesketh mystery: how Sylvia Hesketh, rich, beautiful and without an enemy, took tea with her mother at Mapleshade one afternoon and was found that night murdered beside a lonely road more than a hundred miles away. Molly’s place at the exchange puts her close to the truth.
A chatty, clever mystery with an appealing working-girl detective. Download the free EPUB.
