Before the world knew him as O. Henry, William Sydney Porter wrote a humorous column for the Houston Post. This collection gathers those early pieces: sketches of a sensitive colonel, a matter of loyalty, a door-to-door salesman with gadgets for every household, comic dialogues, mock news items and light verse, showing his style in the making.
A treat for O. Henry admirers curious to see where the famous twist endings began. Download the free EPUB.
