In the Oxford of Cardinal Wolsey’s new college, a group of young scholars meets in secret to read the forbidden English New Testament. Anthony Dalaber, John Clarke and their friends face spies, arrest and imprisonment, and the story follows the real events of their persecution, as set out by the author’s historical note.
A historical tale of conscience for young readers, written from a firmly Protestant view. Download the free EPUB.
