A kindergarten storyteller turns moments from great poems and dramas into simple tales: Browning’s Pippa, Goethe’s Mignon, Siegfried, Margaret leading Faust, and Dante guided by Beatrice. The stories do not follow the plots, but try to give children a feeling for the poetry behind them.
