A Victorian picture book in rhyme that takes children up the dome of St. Paul’s and down into the streets of London. The verses visit the Houses of Parliament, the Tower, Westminster Abbey, Covent Garden, St. James’s Park, the British Museum, the Zoo and the Underground, with the omnibus, the penny-toy man, the orange girl and the charity girls along the way.
A charming period piece, originally illustrated by Thomas Crane and Ellen Houghton. Download the free EPUB.
