This small miscellany for the nursery mixes tiny stories, verses and games. Father Porcupine catches the oranges thrown by unkind monkeys on his quills, a baby takes her first step and cuts her first tooth, a little girl tells an animal story, the moon holds a midnight dialogue and there are marching plays for nursery and kindergarten.
