Eight-year-old Peggy lives in the country near the sea, where two wooden figures stand on the lawn of a beach bungalow. With one of them, Wooden, as her companion, she is swept into an adventure that takes them aboard the Royal Ark, to the palace of King Selim in Dolltown, into prison and finally to a stay in a real dolls’ house.
A gentle Edwardian toy fantasy for young readers who like their dolls to have opinions. Download the free EPUB.
