This sequel to Courage brings back Courage and Sylvia and a pair of old cronies, and adds new little friends. Stories of Arlington before and after the Civil War, a plan to save Brevet, and a red-letter afternoon fill a book about kindness and pluck, with the dialect and racial attitudes of its day in its portrait of Joe.
A gentle, old-fashioned story for young readers that can be read without the first book. Download the free EPUB.
