Dorothy Calvert and her friend Jim Barlow ride the train home to Maryland and Old Bellvieu, where she meets the musician Herr Deichenberg. A camping trip in the mountains brings a cry in the night and unwelcome visitors, and then come violin lessons, a concert, Christmas at Bellvieu and Mr. Ludlow’s offer to take her talent to the metropolis.
Part of Raymond’s Dorothy series, it rewards girls who love music and outdoor adventure alike. Download the free EPUB.
