Old Oliver keeps a tiny shop in a London back street and cares for his small granddaughter Dolly. Into their lives comes Tony, a ragged homeless boy who becomes Dolly’s devoted friend and later buys a broom to sweep a crossing for his bread, while poverty, thieves, a children’s hospital and family secrets shape the fortunes of all three.
A moving evangelical tale from the author of Jessica’s First Prayer, written to stir sympathy for London’s poor children. Download the free EPUB.
