Fairies breakfasting among the daisies tell one another stories: of the Frost-King melted by love, a girl’s visit to Fairy-Land, Lily-Bell and Thistledown, Little Bud, Clover-Blossom and Ripple the water-spirit. Each tale teaches kindness, patience or courage, threaded with songs and flower lore.
