On Christmas Eve, Kitty lies awake, tormented because her little brother Johnnie is gravely ill and she feels she is to blame. A snowman leads her down a staircase of snow into a dream world: Naughty Children Land, the beguiling house of Daddy Coax, and a grey plain where disobedient children slowly turn to ice.
A Victorian moral fantasy in the vein of Lewis Carroll and George MacDonald, eerie, tender and strange. Download the free EPUB.
