Noddy Newman, an orphan with neglected schooling and no moral compass, causes endless trouble at Woodville until a visiting circus tempts him away. His attempt to make his own way puts him aboard the schooner Roebuck under a drunken captain, whose devoted daughter Mollie begins to change him, and the voyage carries them as far as the Hawaiian Islands.
A Victorian boys’ adventure with a clear moral purpose, from one of the most prolific juvenile writers of his day. Download the free EPUB.
