Tom Swift and the balloonist Mr. Sharp finish their airship, the Red Cloud, after an explosion and many setbacks, and sail off on a trial voyage across the country. While they are away, the Shopton bank is robbed and suspicion falls on the aeronauts, who must clear their names while dodging storms, crashes and mysterious men.
An early Tom Swift adventure for fans of vintage series fiction; its caricatured Black handyman, Eradicate, reflects the attitudes of 1910. Download the free EPUB.
