Bomba lives deep in the Amazon rainforest with an old naturalist, Cody Casson, moving through the jungle with the ease of its animals. Jaguars, pumas, snakes and hostile tribesmen test him daily, but the arrival of strangers with “iron sticks” sharpens his hunger to know who his parents were. Its view of the Amazon’s peoples is that of 1926.
