Robert Ross recounts Aubrey Beardsley’s life from his birth at Brighton in 1872 and his frail childhood through his sudden fame as the illustrator of the 1890s, and assesses the drawings themselves. Aymer Vallance contributes a detailed list of Beardsley’s works, from juvenilia to later pieces.
A key early source on Beardsley, written by the man best known as Oscar Wilde’s loyal friend. Download the free EPUB.
