Published in 1823 under the name Jane Morgan, these two tales were meant for girls of about fifteen. Imagination follows a romantic young New Yorker whose head is turned by an unseen correspondent, and Heart follows a young woman choosing among her suitors. Only a handful of copies of the first edition survive.
A rare early curiosity from the author of The Last of the Mohicans. Download the free EPUB.
