Francie Dosson, a pretty and guileless American staying in a Paris hotel with her father and sister, is courted by Gaston Probert of a deeply Frenchified family. She is also befriended by George Flack, correspondent for a New York gossip paper called The Reverberator, and what she innocently tells him threatens everything.
A short, sparkling comedy of manners on privacy and the press that feels startlingly current. Download the free EPUB.
