Out of a job and out of luck, a young New York man takes a friend’s advice: settle in a sleepy country town, behave well, go to church and marry the local heiress. Instead he finds himself running a failing drugstore for old Sam Graham, an inventor with a patent, and caring more for the business than for the fortune.
A cheerful small-town comedy, novelised from Winchell Smith’s Broadway hit of 1909. Download the free EPUB.
